Blancaneaux Lodge

A photographic portrait of Blancaneaux Lodge in Belize, set within the Mountain Pine Ridge. Francis Ford Coppola purchased the abandoned lodge in the early 1980s, using it as a family retreat for over a decade before opening it to guests in 1993. The series moves between the river and waterfalls, gardens, pool, interiors and open-air spaces, showing how the lodge belongs naturally to its surroundings. The photographs bring together architecture, landscape and the quiet atmosphere of a place shaped by water, forest and time.
